Grants
In the past we have been fortunate in receiving small grants from various organizations dedicated to enriching the cultural life of the community.
Like the contributions from individuals and businesses, these have enabled us to hire vocalists and instrumentalists that we could not otherwise have afforded.
Recently, the amount of money available from grants has declined markedly for various reasons. If you are in a position to influence a nonprofit grant-making
organization, we would appreciate your putting in a good word for us. If you are in a position to decide upon grants to groups such as ours and would like to
discuss the possibility with us, please phone (516)-536-0451 and mention "GNCS grants."
Meanwhile, we want to acknowledge with gratitude the grants made in the past by the Long Island Arts Council (with funds from the New York State Council
on the Arts), and by the Nassau County Office of Cultural Development.
